November Development Update


Happy December everyone!

God it's cold.

Speaking of cold, you all will be proud to know that I haven't had a tall glass of ginger ale since the great spill of '22. Since then, I took advantage of Black Friday and bought me a new project/school only computer so that way I'm not putting all of my eggs onto one hard drive. Let me tell ya, it's a lot easier typing on a keyboard with no ginger ale residue buried deep within the components.

Because of this I was able to get done a lot of writing last month. At this pace if I do two interactions (about 35 or so dialogue boxes) a day I should be at the point where I want to be scripting wise in about two months. So, did I write two interactions every day?... well, no but I wrote some more days than others, so it balances out.

In art news, Anya's sprites are done! If you want to check them out, you can find them on my Tumblr. As always, they're done by the amazing Sheep Shin, I have no idea how he does these so quickly, but I highly recommend you give him a follow. 

Finally, some potential news. After weighing the pros and cons (and more importantly costs) I've been thinking about having the game partially voice acted. Think the way Danganronpa is voice acted for those of you familiar with the series. This is still only a possibility for the time being but it's something I'll be exploring throughout the month. Stay tuned!
